The RETROWAVE RW-900 project showcases a complete 3D product design and visualization workflow focused on a stylized retro pocket radio inspired by classic analog electronics. The process began with precise hard surface modeling in Blender, emphasizing clean topology, accurate proportions, functional button placement, and industrial design detailing such as ventilation grids, side controls, antenna mechanics, and speaker panels. Special attention was given to silhouette readability and ergonomic structure to ensure the device felt both nostalgic and believable. After modeling, the asset was carefully UV unwrapped to optimize texture resolution and layout efficiency, preparing it for advanced material creation in Substance Painter. Realistic plastic shaders, metallic antenna materials, subtle surface wear, screen reflections, labeling details, and backplate information were developed to enhance authenticity and production value. The final composition was rendered in Blender using controlled studio lighting and retro-inspired graphic elements, creating a high-impact CGI product presentation suitable for branding, advertising, industrial design portfolios, and commercial visualization. This project demonstrates expertise in 3D electronics modeling, retro product design, UV mapping optimization, material development, and professional product rendering for marketing and digital presentation.
